Mdt. Marono Salvatore

Salvatore Marono, Mdt., was born in Naples in 1983.
He earned his dental technician diploma from the I.p.si.a. Institute in Miano (Naples) in 2003. He specializes in mucosa-supported complete dentures, bar-supported prosthetics (overdentures), and hybrid prosthetics. He began his career in 2004 at Rosario De Marino’s Dental Design laboratory.
Since 2015, he has been working at Alessandro Lelasi’s laboratory in Ischia. During his career, he has attended several courses in complete dentures with national and international speakers, deepening his knowledge of the method developed by Professor A. Gerber (Armando Buongiovanni, Damiano Frigerio, Alessandro Tiraboschi, Max Bosshart).

In 2019, he participated in a course in complete dentures on a patient basis with Dr. Alessio Casucci and Alessandro Ielasi, an active participant.
He has published several articles in national and international journals on complete dentures and overdentures. He presents, holds courses, and lectures nationally and internationally, both personally and for companies such as Rhein83.

In 2023, he participated in the G. Barducci Award at AIOP, finishing in second place. In 2024, he won the AIOP Young competition at AIOP (Italian Academy of Prosthetic Dentistry) as a clinician/technician with Dr. Ottavio Fedele.
In 2025, he participated in the G. Barducci Award, finishing among the finalists.

He collaborates internationally with Dr. Miles Reed Cone (USA), with whom he presented a case at IDS Cologne 2023 for Panthera Dental (Canada), with whom he collaborates, and in Brazil with Dr. Barbara Romano.

He currently serves on the board of ANTLO Campania as an advisor. He is a laboratory owner.
