The objective of the lecture is to give the opportunity to approach a completely additional prosthetic rehabilitation, from the motivational phase with the patient to the planning and cementation, including the manufacturing phases of the handiworks in the laboratory.
The correct management of the concept of aesthetics allows to identify a treatment plan that will develop into stable prosthetic treatments, durable and accepted by the patient with satisfaction.
It is essential to recognize that the non-invasive approach is an indispensable vision to be integrated with traditional prosthetic protocols, in order to treat all those clinical situations that are not ideally indicated in any other approach, remaining then mostly untreated cases that over time will worsen, making it necessary to a treatment plan much more invasive and multidisciplinary, thus increasing the risk of failure of rehabilitation.
The indissoluble relationship between aesthetics and function is the key to achieving clinical success, as is the relationship between clinician and technician, aimed at the integration of mutual skills to achieve the desired result with the patient.
