Expert and Consultant in aesthetic medicine. Graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1985, specialized in Gynecology and Obstetrics in 1989, and registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Verona.
Since 1985 he has been practicing Dentistry and dealing with prosthetics, periodontics, and implantology. He has attended numerous specialized and clinical improvement courses in dentistry and cosmetic medicine.
Since 2000 he has introduced “Cosmetic Medicine” in his professional practice.
In 2007 he graduated as an “Expert and Consultant in Cosmetic Medicine”.
From 2009 to 2013 he was a part-time professor for the Master’s degree in “Oral and Perioral Tissue Aesthetics in Dentistry” at the University of Padova and then collaborated with the universities of Genoa, Cagliari, Parma, Camerino, and Rome Tor Vergata. Speaker at international courses and congresses, author of texts, articles, and DVDs on the integration of Cosmetic Medicine and Dentistry techniques in the aesthetic treatment of the face and smile.
Founder and Honorary President of POIESIS (Perioral and Oral Integrated Esthetic Sciences International Society -www.poiesisweb.eu), creator and editor of the “Beauty with Safety” project, with ANDI.
In 2014 he opens “Clinica Ezio Costa” in Verona, where he combines Dentistry, Cosmetic Medicine, and Wellness Medicine (www.clinicaeziocosta.it) and starts “Academy EC”, the first annual Perioral Aesthetics course. In the same year he publishes the book “Everything starts with a smile” and the manual “Oral and Perioral Tissue Aesthetics in Dentistry”.
In 2017 with Paulo Malo he opens Malo Dental Verona for excellent dental implant treatments. In 2020 he publishes the book “Health and Happiness”, a journey through the understanding of the concept of wellness and the fundamental elements of life that relate health to the concept of happiness itself.
In 2021 he obtained the Lifestyle Coach Method Ongaro® certification after attending the program designed by Filippo Ongaro.
In October 2022 he was the editor of the Italian translation of the text “Lips. 45 injective techniques for the aesthetic treatment of the lips” published by Quintessenza.
In 2025, his fourth book, “The Long Adventure: Living a Good Life is an Ethical Duty (Reflections on Relative Age),” will be published.
Dr. Costa is a Key Opinion Leader in injection treatments with hyaluronic acid and botulinum toxin, serving as a leading expert for two prominent Italian companies specialized in the production of hyaluronic acid-based fillers.
