Prof. Zhang Haidong
Dr. Haidong Zhang received his Doctor of Dental Surgery and then completed the training program of “Specialist for Periodontics and Implant Dentistry” in 2014 from Peking University.
In 2017, Haidong, together with collogues, attended the video contest of clinical cases in EAO (European Association for Osseointegration) conference and became the only Asian team in the final.
Dr. Zhang’s main research interests are implant treatment for periodontally compromised patients, periodontal regeneration and digital workflow for esthetic and edentulous rehabilitation.
He has published several articles as first or correspondent author in Clinical Oral Implants Research, Clinical Implant Dentistry and Related Research and J Prosthodontic Dentistry, and a book on periodontal surgery in Quintessence Publishing.
He is also a member of professional organizations. His current role is a Lecturer and Clinical Instructor in Peking University Department of Periodontics.
