Prof. Prosper Loris
In 1968 he began working as a jeweller in Valenza Po. He attended Bucellati’s jewellery laboratory in Milan.
In 1977, he attended theoretical and practical specialisation courses in Italy and abroad, particularly in the United States, where he participated in numerous workshops on various laboratory techniques with P. K. Thomas, Rex Ingram, Celenza Guichet, Solnit and Pound.
A.A. 1991-1994 Adjunct Professor of Prosthetics “Degree Course in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics”, G. D’Annunzio University, Chieti. The same year he was Scientific Director of the Italian edition of the journal QDT “Quintessence of Dental Technology”.
Assistant for the dental technology part of the “International Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry”.
In 1992 Co-founder together with Riccardo Ciancaglini and Enrico Gherlone of the new Department of Dentistry at I.R.C.S. San Raffaele Hospital, Milan. The same year he was a member of the Scientific Editorial Board of the International Journal of Dental Technology and Reconstructive Dentistry dental labor, Editrice MEA srl.
1995-1996 Professor at the “Advanced Course in Oral Implant Prosthetics”, Chair of Dental Prosthetics, University of Milan I.R.C.S. San Raffaele Hospital.
In 1999 Professor at the Course in Implant Prosthetics at La Sapienza University, Rome. The same year Scientific Consultant, responsible for research and development of latest-generation materials, San Raffaele Scientific Institute, Milan.
In 2000 Professor of the Prosthodontics Course at the University of Milan. In 2000 Member of the Scientific Committee of the “International Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry”.
2001-2002 Professor at the Biennial International Master’s Degree Course in Implantology and Prosthetic Rehabilitation, La Sapienza University, Rome.
Since 2002 Adjunct Professor Vita e Salute University, San Raffaele, Milan as Head of Department of Aesthetic Dentistry.
Since 2006 Professor of “Dental Materials” at the CLID, Vita e Salute University, San Raffaele, Milan.
Since 2013 Adjunct Professor at CLOP: Aesthetic Materials and New Dental Technologies. Vita e Salute San Raffaele University, Milan.
In 2016, he published with Quintessence International the book: Bioaesthetics in Oral Rehabilitation, Italian edition.
In July 2017 International Award by International School of Salerno for Scientific Research in Dentistry.
In 2017 he published in English: Bioesthetics in oral rehabilitation, Quintessence Edition, Chicago.
In 2018 Scientific Director of the journal “Digital Implantology” published by Quintessence.
2019-2020 Scientific Coordinator University Master’s Degree Course in Fixed prosthetics on natural teeth and implants. La Sapienza University, Rome.
In 2020, Scientific Co-Director with Prof. Tiziano Testori of the new journal International Quintessence.
He practises as a freelancer in Monza, Milan and Rome.
