He was born in Crotone (KR) on 23 May 1971. He graduated in Dentistry from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. Founder of the international research group Bio_Emulation together with Dr. P. Bazos and Dr. J. Tapia Guadix. Active member of SIDOC. Active member of the “Warm Gutta-Percha Study Club”. He is an “invited lecturer” at various Universities around the world to report on topics concerning his personal layering and reconstruction techniques for posterior teeth and his studies on the optical behavior of the natural dental element and its bio-mechanical behavior under stress. He has active collaborations with several international universities for research on adhesive restorative dentistry and the biomechanical behavior of the tooth. He teaches and researches at the K.U.L. University Leuven (Belgium) with Prof. Marleen Peumans and Prof. Bart Van Meerbeek non-retentive adhesive conservative restoration techniques. He lives and works in Rome at the dental practice of Dr. D. Puzzilli (EUR). He focuses only on adhesive restorative dentistry and clinical endodontics. He is a speaker at national and international conferences and has published several international scientific articles on direct and indirect adhesive restorative dentistry.
