Graduated with honors and mention of merit in 2003 at the University of Sassari, in 2008 he obtained a PhD in Preventive Dentistry and in 2009 the specialization in Dentistry Surgery at the same University. In 2012 he completed the gIDE/UCLA One-year Master Clinician Program In Implant Dentistry at UCLA University, Los Angeles where he was awarded the Arward: 1^st Place Top Honors in Implant Dentistry. Since 2010-17 he has been a Contract Professor and Aggregate Professor of Periodontology and Implantology. Since 2108 he has been a Researcher at the University of RTDB, Professor of the above teachings for the Degree Course in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics at the University of Sassari. In 2013 he obtained as first Italian the EAO Certificate for fundamental skills and knowledge in implant based therapy awarded by the Board of the European Association for Osseointegration. In 2014 he won the Poster Session (Surgery), Nobel Biocare Symposium, Riccione. International speaker on topics related to implant surgery. He is the author of numerous research projects and scientific publications with high impact factor. Formerly an active member of the Italian Society of Osseointegration Implantology (SIO), is an active member of the Italian Academy of Osseointegration (IAO), is an Active Member of the European Association for Osseointegration (EAO Certified), is an Active Member of the Italian Society of Dentistry Surgery (SIdCO), former Active Member of the Digital Dentistry Society (DDS), is an Active Member of the Computer Aided Academy (CAI Academy). He is the creator of the innovative Computer Guided Bone Regeneration method. Over the years he has trained many dentists in his courses in the light of dentistry based on clinical and scientific evidence. He carries out his activity exclusively focused on clinical research and teaching in Implanto-Prosthetics, Oral Surgery and Periodontology.
