He is an active member of the European Academy of Aesthetics (EAED), a member of the American Academy of Restoration (AARD), an active member of the American Academy of Microscopy AMED (Academy of Microscope Enhanced Dentistry) and he was graduated from the American Implantology Association I.CO.I. (International Congress of Oral Implantologists); he was a founding member of the Italian Academy of CAD-CAM. 

He is the author of numerous printed publications and of a first atlas text on precision in collaboration with the dental technicians A. Battistelli and R. Pascetta: “Precision in prosthetic restoration”, 1993 (Resch Editrice Quintessenza), and of a two-volume book “Aesthetics and Precision” written with dental technicians R. Pascetta and G. Romeo published by Quintessence International in 2004 and translated into seven languages. 

Pioneer in the use of the stereo microscope that he has been using since 1989.
