Soft tooth substance-saving processes, biocompatible materials and a perfect aesthetic result characterize all-ceramic materials such as silicate, lithium disilicate and zirconium oxide ceramics. In order to guarantee long-term successful treatment results with these materials, we need indication-dependent treatment concepts based on established and scientifically recognized procedures. An individual aesthetic and functional optimum for the individual patient can only be achieved through close cooperation between the dentist and the dental technician in each treatment phase. In the lecture, various all-ceramic concepts for individual care indications are presented and discussed. The focus is on the selection of materials and their processing, as well as treatment techniques and the attachment of full ceramic restorations.
